Why The Restful Sleep Place?

As a sleep medicine physician, mom, and someone who has struggled with insomnia, I realize that insufficient sleep has a negative impact on performance, behavior, and physical and mental health.

I recall back in medical school, I was up for long hours trying to study only to wake up early in the morning for school. I would study for tests but have challenges with recall. I realize now that with healthy, restful sleep, learning did not have to be as challenging.

There are very few sleep physicians worldwide, and access to evidence-based sleep-related information is scarce.

As a sleep expert, I am on a mission to help families prioritize sleep to achieve their optimal health and live to their fullest potential. When one family member struggles with sleep, other members struggle too. With the right tools, we can achieve sound, restful sleep!
